VOLUNTEER + ENGAGE

Whether it’s in big or small ways, once or all year long, organizing and leading activities or just participating, your involvement is valued and makes a difference in enriching the student and family experience at ASA. We hope that you’ll find an opportunity or two to support the school, students, and fellow parents!

As volunteer opportunities become available, sign-up links will be added to the category drop-downs below. Thank you for your help!

NOTE: ASA may require a Fingerprint Clearance Card for certain volunteer opportunities. We’ll note this requirement in the volunteer descriptions as often as possible.

ASA values the involvement of parents and guardians in the school community. That’s why we have the ASA Parent/Guardian Committee (ASA PC), which allows families to stay connected and contribute to the school’s success. ASA PC is a group of highly engaged parents who meet monthly to organize volunteer efforts, keep families informed of activities, and bridge communication and connection on ways to support the school. ASA PC members work closely with the Principal and the Development & Marketing Department on school community needs. ASA PC members also organize contributions and volunteer efforts for events such as professional development lunches for faculty and staff and Teacher Appreciation Week in May. They may also organize support for other events and activities on an as-needed or requested basis. Available openings to serve as Grade-level Parent Coordinators are typically recruited at the beginning of each year. You’ll hear more about this important parent group at the beginning of the school year!
