I am the numeracy and literacy champion for my school to LAUSD region west due to the importance I place on academics, but I also play my clarinet from time to time with my students and enrolled my daughter in dance (ballet and tap) when she turned three and was eligible…So the arts and academics are still very important to me.”

I also did some of these duties while working for the Mayor’s Office while in my Master’s program. Creating presentations in the 3rd quarter while at ASA has been absolutely crucial to my public speaking and deliverable development in this role. Appreciate ASA for helping me find my voice!”
